This is a collection of all quizes we made.

Day 109, 3153km, Villa Union. We have crossed couple of deserts and couple of hills and we have a quiz for you! Please tell us how is this plant called. It has green tiny leaves, thorns and yellow wooden-like blossom with seeds inside. Beside that, please vote where should we go tomorrow: Talampaya National Park or Laguna Brava?

Time for the next quiz! As we were in Bolivia, all fruit that we could find were potatoes, and if we were lucky – some onions. So as we finally reached Puno -Peru – we agreed that we should eat more fruit. So, Kira was sent to supermarket (another thing we haven’t seen since Argentina) to buy some. There were two huge shelves full with fruit. Kira could identify two sorts of them – banana and pineapple. But what is the rest?! If you need a closer look, you’ll find them in the album ‘fruits’. Time for the first quiz of the year! First, the prize this time is bigger and better than usual – it’s a full calender of 2015 made by Michi! Second, the quiz is a bit harder than usual: it has two parts. We present you the very typical installation that you can find in every town in South America (in the picture). This one is called ¨Tradicion and Culture¨. So the first part of the quiz is: what is the unusual thing seen in this picture? It’s rainy season here in Colombia and this is the way we walk the dog during the tropical rain. Quiz question: how many plastic bags do we need to build one space costume for Tulku?

Quiz at the end of the text! This is how our bike bag looks like after 1,5 years on the road. ORTLIEB Outdoor Equipment sent us complimentary patches, but EU law does not allow sending the glue oversees and we couldn’t find any glue for this in Cali, so we’re back to using tire tube’s patches. And it’s not only this bag, all our stuff is showing lots of wear and tear by now. Our tent floor has 34 patches by now, and Sven is working on fixing the new holes, so by the end of the day there will be around 50 patches. Even though we love Mexican food, there are some long stretches with no food services on our route, so we had to come up with other solutions. We present our alcohol cooker made from soda cans. Quiz Friday! Here is Tulku in Texas. We crossed a border this week and it was a stressful two-hour ordeal. There are two border-crossing points in Eagle Pass: bridge I and bridge II. We entered bridge I, walked until it’s middle, remembered that we needed stamps for leaving Mexico, went back. Mexican officials told us that immigration is closed on bridge I, so we need to go to bridge II. We cycled 4 kilometers to bridge II, found Mexican immigration, got the stamps. Went on the bridge II, got to USA side, went to immigration only to find out that their printer is broken and they can’t print the needed permit for us and we should go to bridge I. So we cycled all the way back to bridge I, crossed it (again) and all went well. Despite the happy ending it was quite nerve-wrecking experience. Quiz Friday! Here is Tulku in Texas. We crossed a border this week and it was a stressful two-hour ordeal. There are two border-crossing points in Eagle Pass: bridge I and bridge II. We entered bridge I, walked until it’s middle, remembered that we needed stamps for leaving Mexico, went back. Mexican officials told us that immigration is closed on bridge I, so we need to go to bridge II. We cycled 4 kilometers to bridge II, found Mexican immigration, got the stamps. Went on the bridge II, got to USA side, went to immigration only to find out that their printer is broken and they can’t print the needed permit for us and we should go to bridge I. So we cycled all the way back to bridge I, crossed it (again) and all went well. Despite the happy ending it was quite nerve-wrecking experience. Question: before border-crossing, what did we think will the hardest part be?
