Year 2014 for Boundless Biking was like a rollercoaster ride: one moment the heavens opened in front of us and the next moment all our plans went on a highway to hell. We hope that year 2015 will be calm year. We wish you all happy new year!

Fun fact about Ecuador: you all know that within European Union producers must declare the ingredients on the packages of their products. They do it in tiny letters that you can barely read. Here in Ecuador they took one step further and introduced big and highly visible ‘traffic light’ on each product with the most important facts about it.

Big day today! After following the curvy road for a while we crossed the ecuator for the last time today. From now on – we are officially back to northern hemisphere.

Making our own Chirstmas decorations

One is crippled and can’t walk, other one is suffering from high altitude sickness and another one is limping because of inflammation – dream team, no less! And yet, we made it back up to the Andes and reached Quito! 3000 vertical meters and 5 days later here we are, ready to cross the ecuator..

Fun fact of the day: In Ecuador there is a designated bike line on the motorway E25 between Naranjal and Guayaquil.
