Meet Luisa, Camilo and Abril the dog – our hosts in Armenia. We met them the first time on Sven’s birthday in the middle of Peru. They were traveling with their motocycle through South America for 3 months. 6 days later they were back home in Colombia and started waiting for us. 10 months later we are finally here! Some things have changed during that time: they fell in love with Tulku and bought themselves a dog. The tiny pup grew up to a huge dog and already had his first birthday!
Meet Cesar Vazquez Mazariegos! He greeted us, when we were looking for a place to pitch our tent in a village so small, that it even didn’t have a name (the map named the village after the nearby brigde). “Come, you sleep at my house tonight,” said Cesar and invited us in for the night. Cesar had some cool stories to share, from working in gold mines in Guatemala to making a career in Mexican govermental agency. Also, we now know that cows in Mexico cost 10 times more than in Ecuador.
Double crazyness! We met this lady from Turkey, cycling solo with her cat! She has been on the road for 4 years, and she adopted a cat in August 2015.
