Dear contributors, we have good news! We just came back from the vet – the stitches are removed! Now we can start the rehabilitation. Tulku also gave blood samples for testing and we will have the results tomorrow. With your support we have nearly reached our goal – at the moment we are able to cycle almost to Seattle. Just a bit more than 4500km left until Alaska! We are extremely grateful for your kind deed. Let’s continue traveling to Alaska together! http://igg.me/at/boundlessbiking/x/9091535

Tulkus last stitches get out today
Thank you all for your contributions! Every cent/kilometer counts. We are going to remove Tulku’s last stitches today!
Quiz Winner Ausra Dambrauskaite
Congratulations to our Quiz winner Ausra Dambrauskaite! The right answer is A – Tulku’s main responsibility is happiness of the team. No matter how many things just went wrong, Tulku is always the first to make us laugh. It is also true that Tulku does more than that. She is a good guard, but she has a mayor flaw: she likes people. So once you come and say hi to her, she forgets her guarding duties and starts playing. She is also quite good with cleaning, but cleans only food related items and usually makes more mess than we do…
Our host Camilo has drawn a winner Ausra Dambrauskaite. You will receive a postcard from Medellin, Colombia. We will contact you for your address (check the ‘other’ folder in your messages). The first batch of postcards will be sent to our contributors from Medellin too!
Thank you!
Our very first supporters who stand beside us from the Day 1 are our Moms and Dads. This is the kilometer dedicated to them. Thank you for being there, when we most needed you and holding our hands by every step we take!
60 %
Thank you for the amazing support! We have reached 60% of our goal in just 5 hours! With your contibution will are now able to cycle for 900km and that is almost until Cartagena. Keep sharing!
Crowdfunding Call
Sven, Kira and Tulku the dog – we are cyclists pedaling the length of the Panamerican Highway. After 20 months on the road we are facing medical struggles. Please check out our crowdfunding page! Get involved and be part of our adventure! Invite your friends to join us too!
Introduction: Crowdfunding
Do you want to be a part of our team? No direct cycling included! We are working on our indiegogo crowdfunding campaign that starts soon (very very soon) and we are looking for team members that could help us with spreading the word. Contact us if you can help!
improvements
Home improvement. Oh wait – bike improvement.
Gardening tips from Colombians
Why colombians put eggs on their plants? First, these plants never bloom, and that is not acceptable. Second, it helps to keep the water from evaporating too fast and drying the plant, very important in the country with air humidity more that 90%.
Quiz Bags
Quiz at the end of the text! This is how our bike bag looks like after 1,5 years on the road. ORTLIEB Outdoor Equipment sent us complimentary patches, but EU law does not allow sending the glue oversees and we couldn’t find any glue for this in Cali, so we’re back to using tire tube’s patches. And it’s not only this bag, all our stuff is showing lots of wear and tear by now. Our tent floor has 34 patches by now, and Sven is working on fixing the new holes, so by the end of the day there will be around 50 patches. Sooo, here’s the question for the quiz: how many patches (and fixed holes) there will be after we’re done fixing it?
