Last check up before the big surgery tomorrow! As you might already know – Tulku has problems with her knees and can´t walk much anymore. There will be mayor surgery tomorrow in order to fix that. As it cost over a million (well, pesos) we will be launching crowdfunding campain soon. All your help and support is needed!

Colombia is very frugal country, they make tiny maches from plastic (coin for scale)

Colombians are very friendly: Kira was pushing her bike for the last 2 km up the hill and one motorbike stopped and offered her fuel – in case she ran out of it. Well, it was dark, so probably not that easy to distinguish bike from motorbike… (no offers for fuel for Sven though)

Taste of Colombia: lemon chips and exotic apple fanta

Day 487, km 9357 – we made it to Colombia! We spent 3 months in beautiful Ecuador, we loved it and we hated it – there were no inbetweens. During our last day in Ecuador the sun was shining and the rain was raining at the same time, all day long and it describes perfectly our whole time in this country. Let’s see what adventures await us now in Colombia!
